Well this semester has been a complete whirlwind. I can't believe that it's been so long since I last posted and I can't believe I only have 5 weeks left as a college student! This last semester has been jam-packed full of projects, meetings, papers, and the job search. AND it's almost snowing! I cannot wait.
Career Services has been amazing about connecting me with quality contacts during my job search. While many of their contacts are in the general Northeastern Indiana area, they work hard to find alum or other connections closer to where you want to be. Currently, I am trying to find a job in the greater Kalamazoo/Battle Creek/Grand Rapids area because that is closer to my hometown and my fiance is still in school there and has a great job there already. While we have discussed the possibility of my getting an amazing job opportunity elsewhere, I am still looking in that area, since it will be the easiest for him and makes generally the most sense. Like I said, Career Services is doing their best to help me find a job. They've gone over my resume with me, worked on interviewing skills, and helped me with my networking skills. It is one of the most helpful places on campus.
